The Classic Mansion region of the Chattahoochee Trace is noted for its unusual array of outstanding architectural styles. Here may be found structures exhibiting characteristics of Greek Revival, Italianate, Victorian and Neo-classical Revival forms of architecture. Not far from the moss-draped oaks and fragrant magnolias which surround many of these antebellum and post-antebellum buildings is a body of water which annually attracts millions of boating enthusiasts. Lake Eufaula/George is a natural complement to these white-columned residences which have survived the ravages of time. The best of the past and present may be seen in this regions architectural heritage and scenic beauty.
